By entering into an Articulation Agreement with VET Assess Australia our team can identify gaps between the learning in overseas and Australian qualifications.

When we identify these information gaps, we provide students, teachers, and overseas institutes and universities with the information they need to compare qualifications, to enable pathways to obtain the Australian qualification.

VET Assess Australia seek expressions of interest from overseas institutes seeking assessment of their qualifications against Australian qualifications, for persons currently enrolled or graduates who are seeking employment as a Chef, Cook or Cafe & Restaurant Manager. 

VET Assess Australia can offer Articulation Agreements for the following qualifications:  

  • SIT30622 Certificate III in Hospitality
  • SIT30821 Certificate III in Commercial Cookery

How the Articulation Agreement Works

VET Assess Australia seeks to create partnerships:

  1. Together: we partner with institutions, teachers, trainers and students to ensure we gain a deep understanding of the qualification. This includes entry requirements, teacher training requirements, modules and learning outcomes. 
  2. Gain Knowledge: we identify the equipment required and the amount of practical and theoretical study in the course. We also speak to students about how they experience their learning and the learning styles that are most productive and rewarding for them.
  3. Plan: we hold workshops to discuss the required gap training, how this can be communicated to students and outline delivery plan to enable attainment of the Australian qualification.
  4. Enrol, Train & Assess: students then enrol into the Australian qualification and complete a combination of practical assessment, at a local VET Assess Australia assessment centre and online real time connected delivery. 
Upon successful completion VET Assess Australia will issue each participant a a Statement of Attainment for the unit of competence and the Australian qualification.
