VET Assess Australia offer skills assessments for migration for hospitality trade occupation types for persons who hold trade certificates and / or are employed as a Chef, Cook or Cafe & Restaurant Manager.

VET Assess Australia provide off shore training and assessment services in the following Australian qualifications:  

  • SIT30622 Certificate III in Hospitality
  • SIT30821 Certificate III in Commercial Cookery

Successful completion of these Australian qualifications support existing pathways for subsequent applications for migration to Australia. 

How to apply

Your skills and experience will be assessed by someone who has worked in your trade and understands your skills and qualifications.

1. Licensed Trades:

  • With no formal taining we require that you demonstrate 6 years employment experience, or;
  • With relevant formal training we require a minimum of 4 years employment experience.

2. Non Licensed Trades:

  • With no formal taining we require that you demonstrate 5 years employment experience, or;
  • With relevant formal training we require a minimum of 3 years employment experience.

The employment must be in the nominated occupation, or in an occupation that is directly related to the nominated occupation, and must include at least 12 months’ employment in the nominated occupation within the past 3 years.
